Patient tech help for older Australians

Friendly, patient tech help for seniors.

We come to your home, or help over the phone. We set up your iPad, computer, phone and TV, sort out the wifi, and show you how to stay safe from scams, slowly, kindly, and without the jargon.

A real Australian person. We never talk down to you, and there's no lock-in contract.

A worry, eased

From a confusing screen to confident and safe online.

See how a patient visit turns a worry into something you feel good about.

1 Where it starts

A message that makes your stomach drop.

A scary pop-up, a text about a parcel, a call saying there's a problem with your account. They're built to look real and to rush you, that's exactly what they're meant to do. It is not your fault for being unsure.

2 What we do

We sit down with you, at your pace.

In your own home, at your own table, with your own device. We sort the thing that's bothering you, then show you how in plain words, slowly, as many times as you like. We leave clear, large-print notes you can keep.

3 How it ends

You feel steady about it again.

You know how to spot the fakes, your accounts are locked down, and the device works the way you like it. And we're a phone call away whenever the next thing comes up, no lock-in, no fuss.

If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place

You're not the problem. Technology changes too fast, and most help is written for people who already understand it.

! It keeps changing

The phone updates and the buttons move. What worked last week is suddenly somewhere else. It's tiring, and it's not your fault.

! You're worried about scams

In 2025, Australians aged 65 and over reported $88.8 million in scam losses to Scamwatch, more than any other age group. The fake calls, texts and emails are made to look real, that's exactly what they're meant to do.

! The device just won't work

The iPad, the computer, the TV or the printer has stopped doing the one thing you need, and the manual may as well be in another language.

! You want someone you can trust

Someone patient and genuinely helpful who explains things properly, doesn't rush you, and won't talk down to you or sell you things you don't need.

Help that fits how you like to learn

We don't just fix the problem and leave. We show you, in plain words, so next time you can do it yourself, or call us, with no fuss.

We come to you

Help in your own home, at your own table, with your own device. No driving, no carrying gear out, no waiting in a shop.

Or help over the phone

A quick worry doesn't need a visit. Call us and we'll walk you through it, calmly, one step at a time.

Scam & safety check

We help you spot the fakes, lock down your accounts and banking, and set up the simple habits that keep you safe online.

All your devices

iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows or Mac, the smart TV, the printer, the smart speaker, one patient person for the lot.

Internet & wifi sorted

Wifi that reaches every room, and a plan that suits you. For retirement units, we can set up cheaper shared broadband across the building.

Written down for you

We leave clear, large-print notes for the things you want to remember, so you're never left staring at a screen alone.

From frazzled to confident

After a patient visit or two, the same iPad that felt frightening starts to feel like yours.

We keep simple notes of what we set up and showed you, so the next visit picks up where we left off, and so you can see how far you've come.

How confident do you feel?

Settled

Illustrative, but the pattern is real: patience and plain words build confidence.

How it works

You call or send a message

Tell us what's bothering you, a new iPad, a scam worry, slow wifi, anything. Plain words are fine; we'll work out the rest.

We help, at your pace

In your home or over the phone. We fix it, then show you how, slowly, and leave clear notes you can keep.

We're here next time

No lock-in. Call again whenever something comes up, it'll be the same friendly, patient person who knows your setup.

Questions people often ask

Will you talk down to me or rush me?

No. That's the whole reason Seniors IT exists. We go at your pace, use plain words instead of jargon, and explain things as many times as you'd like. There are no silly questions here.

I think I might have been scammed. Can you help?

Yes, and please don't feel embarrassed; it happens to careful people every day. Call us first if something feels off, and we'll check it with you for free. If something has already gone wrong, we'll help you secure your accounts and point you to Scamwatch and your bank.

Do you come to my home, or do I go to you?

We come to you, in your own home, with your own devices, or we help over the phone if that's easier. You never have to carry equipment anywhere.

I'm not very good with computers. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Most of the people we help say exactly that. You don't need to know any of the words, just tell us what you're trying to do, and we'll take it from there.

Do I have to sign up for anything ongoing?

No lock-in and no contracts. You call us when you need us, and pay for that help. If you'd like us to check in now and then, we can, but only if you want it.
